I prefer that you make your bookings personally on through the link above. I do not monitor my messages during the day as I am giving my clients my full attention and don’t have a lot of time in-between to field questions and answer booking requests.

When it comes to structured gel nails, not all gels are the same. At High Five Nail Co, I work primarily with builder (soft) gel overlays and hard gel overlays—two professional systems designed to strengthen natural nails while creating a smooth, sculpted shape. The main difference comes down to removal, flexibility, and structure.
Hard Gel vs. Soft / Builder Gel:
-
Hard gel is a file-off system, meaning it must be carefully filed off rather than soaked off. It cures into a stronger, more rigid structure, making it ideal for supporting length and shape.
Hard gel works best for:
Medium to long nail lengths
Clients who want maximum strength and durability
Sculpting structured or architectural nail shapes
Because it’s more rigid, hard gel provides the strength needed to maintain longer nails without compromising stability.
-
Builder gel is a soak-off gel, meaning it can be removed with acetone when needed. It’s designed to add strength to the natural nail while still maintaining a bit of flexibility.
Builder gel is a great option for:
Short to medium length nails
Clients who like to change their sets more often
Adding lightweight structure and durability to natural nails
It reinforces the nail while still allowing for some natural movement, which many clients find comfortable for everyday wear.
